OMG#@%! I’m getting crazy about bit torrent , geeez.

A close friend of mine was using bit torrent for years now but it never occured to me to use it too..until today. What happened was, I had no time to go to the bookstore today and buy the new books that I want to read (yes, I’m addicted on reading novel’s –thanks to Twilight saga, my passion for reading was awaken again after reading all 4 novels of Twilight) so I resorted on looking for ebooks.

Alas, I found the ebook of the novel that I want to read but it a bittorrent file. So I have no choice but to download BT (short for bittorrent -my own petname for my latest crazed application ). I downloaded it and since I hate reading manuals and guides (lol) , I went for the kill right away (means I used the application right away without reading the manual). The downloading and installation is easy right? But using the actual application without any experience is a different story.

Yes, BT has the same concept with P2P and I’ve been a user of p2p for years so I thought it would be the same..but it’s different.

With BT, you have to download and search for the file from different websites. In layman’s term, you have to use a search engine ( search engine for BT files or a regular search engine so long as you include the keyword bittorrent) to search for the file that you want, when you found it, open the website and click the download button from that website. From that, you can then associate your downloaded file with your BT application.

It’s kind of tricky confusing but it’s fun and easy….after you get the hang of it. So right now, I’m hooked up, downloading movies, music, ebooks and TV programs .

Hello everyone !

How have you been? It took me time again to update here huh? Sorry ’bout that. Life has been pretty hectic lately. Anyway, so there has been a BIG (as in HUGE) change in my life. While few months ago I was preparing myself for Carlo’s deployment to Iraq, it was changed.

Carlo received an order to Hawaii this coming August and so his deployment was canceled. Receiving an order means transferring the the new location including the family. I was so relieved and so happy to hear the good news. I know deployment is always present in the life of the military family but first time is always a hard time and it would have been my first time. So I wasn’t (at all) looking forward to it.

Right now, we are busy cleaning our house and getting it ready for the market. We’re going to sell it and hopefully we can beat our little time and will sell it so we would not pay 2 mortgages (I’m crossing my fingers) when we’re already in Hawaii.

So that’s what keeping me busy this time. As far as the selling of the house is concern, we’ll try to sell it on our own..who knows we can sell it. 6% commission fee from the realtor is a little high especially that our housing market is down right now.

Anyway, I have to go now, I need to finish our flyer. I’ll be back soon
