I feel sad as I am writing this entry, I just finished talking to a good friend and she has some marital problems.

You know, getting married is really a gamble, a gamble of life and love. Life because, you don’t know what lies ahead of you and love because you’re sharing your whole being with your husband. But what if the one you promise to be with for the rest of your life is the one who will betray you and hurt you the most?

That is the case of my friend, he’s hurting her emotionally (third party cases), mentally (verbally) and when the fight get’s dirty it slightly goes physically.

Every time we talk, my heart’s breaking into pieces. I always feel her pain, I can even hear her cry on her words. But still she’s trying to hang on -on the marriage that she vowed till death do us part.

Don’t get her wrong but when you’re married, there are some perspective/views in life that changes from when you were single. Before, I would always criticize those individuals (usually the wives) that has gotten all the beat up in the world and yet they’re still trying to hold on with the marriage.

But you know what, I perfectly understand it now that I’m also married. You can;t just throw away what you’ve started in a snap without re-considering everything. I mean, I may never experienced any of my friends’ suffering (I’m just one of a hella lucky person to marry a pure good-hearted one-woman man) and we may have disagreements but believe me, when it comes to separation/divorce/annulment (or however you call it); it is always a never easy decision.

I can’t count on my fingers on how many times I cursed her husband when we talk, on how many times I advised her to leave him and how many times she said she will..but it always comes up to one conclusion –she can’t as of the moment, it’s breaking her into pieces, she loves him dearly..in spite and despite of what happened.

I’m sorry if I’m venting here, I’m also lost right now..I’m out of advices ..care to lend us some ?
